"The Devoted"

"The Devoted" is the story of Mah Soor, who we see born, grow and learn, and travel the world to experience humanity. It's also a calendar for 2018, filled with facts to hopefully help keep things in perspective.

"Mil Destinos"

"Mil Destinos" is a modular art show composed of an arrangement of multi-surface paintings, created by Rafael Tapia III. The visual narratives and imagery in this series of paintings are made to inspire a sense of search for aesthetics in your own life & your connection to this planet.

The Mil Destinos, miniature art gallery is comprised of a hand pulled silk screen triptych art frame, along with 11 individual art stickers. These stickers are miniature versions of the paintings and artwork created for the original exhibition, in August, 2017. The composition of the art stickers is dependent on the owner of the miniature galleries’ aesthetics and visual preference. Arrange the paintings as you would in your own personal art gallery. Observe the paintings, let the synapses connect and get lost.

William Schaff

William Schaff is known for some of the album art he has done (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Songs: Ohia, Brown Bird, Okkervil River, Kid Dakota, etc.) and as the founder of Warren, Rhode Island's, "Fort Foreclosure". The building, lovingly named without the least bit of irony, serves as Schaff's home and studio as well as home and meeting place for other artists. Recognizing the importance of art in this work William recently expanded his community to the West Coast, where he started "The Outpost", in Oakland, California. There -- financial earnings be damned! -- William fills his days drawing works of art for private commissions, bands, and his own examinations of this crazy world.

Rafael Tapia III

Rafael Tapia III is an independent artist and visual designer based out of the Bay Area, CA. Colloquial wording, phrases, & lettering also come into play within his compositions balancing out a combination of design, surreal imagery, with a visual narrative perspective. His artwork is figurative in subject with a ensitivity to indigenous cultural narratives & visibility. Rafael is also a silk screen printer & art instructor, who spends time within the local Oakland art community creating art for commission, instructing the youth, painting murals or exploring ways to collaborate. Lately, Rafael has been creating illustrations for serigraph printing. You can find Rafael here:
